Book Donations

Book Donations:
Friends of Ponce Library accepts book donations that are in good, gently used condition anytime the library is open. There is a cart in the library’s front entrance for donations. We also accept puzzles in good, complete condition. Please recycle magazines, VHS tapes, outdated textbooks, outdated technology books or books damaged by heat, mold or water.

• • Books MUST be gently used or in like new condition.

  • Delivered in small bags or boxes (not bigger than a standard paper box). 

  • Please remove all personal items and mailing labels.

  • NO heat, mold or water damaged items. 

  • Do not donate it, if you wouldn’t buy it. 

  • If you can’t lift it, our volunteers can’t either. 

  • Cannot be Advanced Readers Copies or Proofs from publishers.

Book Plate Donation:

Donate a book to the Ponce Library collection to mark an occasion, honor someone special, or donate in memory of a family member, friend, or colleague.  Our librarian will select a book to add to the collection and a personalized book plate will be attached.  Book plate donation requires a minimum $25 donation.
