Book Donations

Book Donations:

The Friends of the Ponce Library gratefully accepts book donations in good, gently used condition anytime the library is open. A donation cart is located in the library’s front entrance for your convenience.

We also accept puzzles that are in good, complete condition.

Please recycle or discard magazines, VHS tapes, outdated textbooks, outdated technology books, and books damaged by heat, mold, or water.

Donation Guidelines:

• Books must be gently used or in like-new condition.

• Please bring donations in small bags or boxes (no larger than a standard paper box).

• Please remove all personal items and mailing labels.

• No heat, mold, or water-damaged items.

• A good rule of thumb: If you wouldn’t buy it, please don’t donate it.

• We cannot accept Advance Reader Copies (ARCs) or publisher proofs.

Bookplate Donations:

Donate a book to the Ponce Library collection to mark a special occasion, honor someone special, or remember a family member, friend, or colleague.

With a minimum donation of $25, our librarian will select a book for the library’s collection, and a personalized bookplate will be placed inside the book in recognition of your gift.
